Khloe and Brody

These past two months have brought many changes. In mid-October I went to a rheumatologist because I have a knot on my palm between my ring finger and my pinkie. It began hurting about seven months ago and has grown larger since then, although now the knot moves around if I touch it. I have also been having a lot of joint and muscle pain, so the doctor ordered some bloodwork and told me he would do an x-ray of my hand in one week. Meanwhile, I took a pregnancy test to make sure I could still get an xray and it was positive! I went to the follow-up for my results and he ordered a lupus panel test, due to my first set of bloodwork. It showed that my SED rate was 30. The second set showed that I have an antibody that I shouldn't, but they can't identify the cause.

This means I am high-risk, due to the inflammation somewhere in my body and the fact that I had preclampysia with Brody. I am switching my ob/gyn this time around. Last time I just didn't feel like I was taken care of properly because my doctor had way to many patients. My new doctor is a female and I had numerous people recommend her. I will also be seeing the high-risk doctor who monitored Brody before he was born. Hopefully this time around I will have it easier, although with Brody I never felt like eating and was nauseous occassionally (I never threw up though). I already feel like I am bulging and I am having a difficult time controlling what I eat. Maybe its a girl????? I go to the doctor on December 10th to get a sonogram and all of the other fun stuff.

As for Brody, he is walking and running all over the house. He went from crawling to walking extremely fast. He looks more like a little boy every day, especially when he gets a haircut. He had croup not too long ago and he takes breathing treatments when he is coughing. It seemed to clear up right away. We found out he will eat anything...he loves hot cheetos! I know, you are probably saying that was mean of us to give him one but he thought they were delicious. He also thinks Pop Rocks are hilarious! (Don't worry...he hardly ever gets sweets....just when we are testing him!!) That's all for now.....
