What a month!

Brody and Wyatt hanging out at the restaurant in Lovington. Brody and I went to Hobbs this weekend to visit and to get Brody and Grayson's pictures taken together. They came out really cute.

Brody just started eating cereal. Guess what? He loves it. Tim recorded it on his phone. When I took the spoon out of his mouth he started crying.

This is a rare occurence. Tim never smiles for the camera but I made him laugh. Brody thinks mama is crazy!!!

Brody had his 4 month checkup a little late, but we got it taken care of. He weighed 14 lbs 14 oz and was 25 1/2 inches long. He has caught up in size and is now bigger than Grayson.He is working on rolling over but is smiling more everyday. I didn't realize how behind he would be on his milestones, but as long as he hits them that is all that matters. I suppose it is good that he isn't rolling around everywhere while we are trying to pack and move in our new house. Brody also had to low heart rate episodes...so here we go another two months on the monitor. It is good to have, but I fear it will be going off nonstop once he figures out how to pull the cords out. He has already been trying to put them in his mouth. We should close on or before March 12....it's right around the corner! All this paperwork and making phone calls has made for a long month.

Better go....it's time to hit the sack.

We were approved!

AFTER MUCH ANTICIPATION, WE FOUND OUT THURSDAY WE WERE APPROVED FOR THE HOUSE! WE ARE SO EXCITED! WE ARE WORKING ON THE CONTRACT AND SHOULD CLOSE BY MARCH 12...THAT IS IN THREE WEEKS! I BETTER START PACKING!

SINCE WE ARE CLOSER TO THE HOUSE BEING OURS, I WILL SHARE SOME PICS WITH YOU. THESE ARE ONLY A FEW OF THE ROOMS. ONCE WE ARE IN IT, I WILL POST PICS OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT.

THIS IS A RUN DOWN OF THE PLACE: 3 BEDROOM , 2 BATH, LAUNDRY ROOM, DEN, LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, DINING ROOM, THREE CAR GARAGE, GUEST ROOM/GAME ROOM OUTSIDE, COVERED BACK PATIO WITH A FAN......AND LOTS OF CLOSET SPACE! THE CARPET IS NEW AND THE COLORS ARE NICE. I WILL ONLY HAVE TO PAINT TWO ROOMS...THE KITCHEN AND THE ORANGE STRIPED ROOM.

What an eventful week it has been. For the last few weeks, I have had alot of stress, both at home and at work. It has been one of those times where you are mad at the world and every little thing makes you mad. Due to unforeseen cirmcumstances, Tim and I are looking for another place to live. The problem is there is nothing around this town to rent. We wanted to get closer to being debt free before attempting to buy a home, but we are diving in and seeing if we can buy a house. People do it everyday...but with the economy being the way it is...you never know if lenders are willing to work with you. I am trying not to get my hopes up, but Tim and I love love love this house we went and looked at in Wink yesterday. Hopefully everything will work out.

Super Scratchy Sunday

I am a little sock monkey! It sure was cold last week!

Friday night I took Brody over to Pecos and we spent the night. I left Saturday after lunch and Brody had his first overnight stay with PawPaw and Bia. I am sure they had fun.

Tim's birthday is on the 3rd, so we celebrated yesterday.He wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch a UFC fight, which I am not crazy about. I wound up having a good time though. We were going to spend the night in Odessa, but decided to drive home instead.

I have been getting really congested in the mornings, so much so that (Iknow this is gross) I wind up gagging and heaving because it is so thick. Last year at this time the same thing happened and the doctor said I had rhinitis and prescribed me nasonex and claritin. So a few weeks ago I started taking it here and there to try to avoid the severe congestion. This morning I woke up,tried to clear my nose and throat, and took the medicine as usual. I layed back down in bed and starting itching really badly. Low and behold, my right forearm was covered in hives. I decided that I would go to the ER when they started coming up on my face and neck. I am one to never go to the ER unless it is a dire emergency, but hey, I have already met my out of pocket expense for the year with my previous bout in the hospital. By the time I saw the doctor they had spread down my legs and were all over me. After a shot in the butt and benedryl, they finally went away. But guess what, they are popping back up as I speak. Maybe I will get some sleep tonight...yeah right!
