It has been awhile. What's new? In pregnancy news, my last checkup was good. I go back at the beginning of April for the fun glucose test. I am going to get a massage tomorrow...I have been trying to get an appointment for two weeks now. Ever since the TAKS test on March 3, my foot has been killing me, along with my sciatic nerve. My ankle is swollen and very tender to the touch, so I hope she can fix me up...I have been limping around for days. Maybe that will get me out of the next set of TAKS testing. :) I have gained maybe 2 pounds since I got pregnant, although I am not sure how.
In Brody news, he is growing so fast. He is still talking jibberish to himself and others. Just yesterday, we went to Odessa. He walked up to three women he didn't know and laid his head on their knees. I might be in trouble! We went to eat later on with one of Tim's friends from work and his girlfriend. He was tired, so he put his arms up so she'd pick him up and he just laid his head on her shoulder. I can already see he has eyes for the ladies. He loves playing outside and Tim has been taking him out to feed the horses and play in the dirt. Tim roped this weekend and I found out Brody likes eating dirt. Is this normal?
Last week I recieved three citations in the mail from the city. Apparently, there is an ordinance that says that your dogs can not be off your property without a leash. They had dug a hole under the fence on Wednesday, I suppose around 10:30 am. The city didn't bother to call or try to get ahold of anyone. At 2:30, they called Tims moms house looking for him, but didnt say what they needed. When I got home the three dogs were waiting on the porch and I put them up...no big deal. So on Thursday, I called city hall because Mary Ann had said they had called( I had no clue as to what was going on). A woman informed me that I would have to appear in court and fined 240 dollars for the three dogs. They were "chasing people around the park and scaring our neighbors." Obviously, the dogs were not much of a threat because they left them out all day...didn't even bother to call the number on the tags or my work number, but they sure knew they were Linsey Lara's dogs. Tim went up there on Monday morning to see if this could be cleared up, but they said it still stood. The mayor and the other workers sat and listened while he informed them that there is always a dog in our yard that lives two doors down and he was going to buy a pellet gun and shoot it and the cats that leave prints all over his truck. Anyhow, I think they know they are in the wrong, because they didnt even answer his questions when he asked where this city ordinance was posted or how he was supposed to know about it. He also said, "I guess it only applies to people you don't really know, huh....if you are on the city council I guess your dog can roam anywhere." I guess I will be appearing in court next week. Yay.
On that note...have a good week!
